Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Scholl, but everyone calls me Katie. I am a sophomore mass media major and the newest writer for the Ram Page. Here are a few things about me!

I am in the Angelo State Chorale and Chamber Singers as I have always loved to sing. This choir has been a fun outlet for me, especially as I navigated my way through my first year of college. We had a great experience singing in Carnegie Hall during spring break, and we continue to grow our numbers each year. I am also a part of the Mosaic Campus Ministry. Since joining the Mosaic leadership team, I have had a lot of fun getting to know the amazing people in our community.

I am from Lubbock, Texas, and chose Angelo State for various reasons, including how close to home it is, the mass media/communications department and how welcoming the community is.

It has been just two semesters and I feel like I have already learned so much. I enjoy learning about how writing for the media is so vastly different from writing for an English class. Through my classes, I have been able to interview others and get out into the field with hands-on experience, which is something that I love doing. In the short time that I have been a part of the Ram Page team, I have been surrounded by such talented and fun people. I am grateful to be a part of this team.

I am so excited to see where this position will take me and I cannot wait to share all of the stories around campus with all of you!
